Yves Papin – Owner/Skipper

Bonjour! French skipper Yves is onboard  Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. He has a great passion for the protection of Dolphins & Whales and loves being out on the water sailing, something he has been doing for most of his life. Yves loves to chat with guests onboard to be sure you are enjoying the cruise and let you know some interesting facts about the local wildlife!

Frank Future -  Owner/Skipper

Frank usually skippers on Friday and Saturday. He has been sailing boats for 40 years and has a very deep passion for the marine environment. Frank is currently secretary of Whale and Dolphin Watch Australia and has been an official observer at the annual International Whaling Commission meetings. He is an active member of Port Stephens Tourism and the Port Stephens Eco Network.

Pete – Skipper/Deckhand

Pete is Imagine’s third Skipper. He lives on his own yacht and also holds an offshore Yachtmaster ticket. He tried to run away to sea at 6 y.o and has been sailing since the age of 12 y.o. Pete has mastered vessels professionally both here and overseas and loves to share his experience of nature and the sea with others, making him an excellent addition to the Imagine Team. Pete drives on  Tuesdays but also works as a deckhand during the week.

Ayla – Office Manager

Ayla is a ‘local’ in the truest sense. Spending her entire 21 years in Port Stephens and working at various locations throughout the Port means she has a good knowledge of the area and attractions.  Ayla works in the office and working from Tues – Sun so you will most likely meet her on the phone, thou does love to get out on the boat when she can!

Anne Marie – Accounts

Anne Marie keeps an ever watchful eye on the Imagine’s Accounts. She is developing a great love for Port Stephens and tries to bring her family and friends out for the Imagine experience whenever possible. Along with Ayla in the office she will quite often answer the phone or email enquiries.

Roger – Deckhand/Dive Master

Roger, originally from Canada has now intergrated very well into the local scene. He and his wife have been Koala carers for the last 10 years.  Roger loves Sailing every Saturday with the local yacht club and of course on Imagine. Roger is an active golfer and is also a member of the Port Stephens Econetwork.

Roger D – Deckhand/Chef

Roger is Imagine’s Chef  cooking up a storm on the dinner cruises as well as private charters.  He and wife Sally operate a Bed and Breakfast called ‘Boataba B&B’ so he is used to providing information with a smile to everyone he meets!

Bruce – Deckhand/Chef

Bruce is our go to man when things get busy. He is a keen sailor and a local of 40 years. Ask him about his many sailing trips on the ‘South Passage’  He is an active Deckhand during the week, as well as our chef on Monday & Tuesday Night dinner cruises.

Priscilla- Deckhand/Dive Master

Imagine’s Newest Staff member, but not new to the Port.. Priscilla has been working for Seascape & Lets Go Dive Adventures since 2010. Keen to develop and expand her knowledge as a deckhand, and also help out as a Dive master once Summer hits on our Snorkelling Marine Discovery Tours.

Alies- International Intern

Here on an 8month Internship from the Netherlands, Alies is keen to live the Aussie lifestyle whilst devloping knowledge and skill within an Australian ecotourism business as part of her university studies. Alies can be found occasionally in the office, but with a love for the sun & beach, Alies is normally on board acting as a deckhand, and soon to be qualified Dive Master. Imagine Welcomes Alies to Australia!
