Weather: Port Stephens cruises have been blessed this week with beautiful days, tops of around 25 – 27 and light NorEasterly breezes making it excellent conditions for all of our dolphin cruises. The forecast is for much the same next week, tops of 27 for the whole week. The only change is a bit of Southerly breeze for Saturday and Sunday however with such high temperatures we predict the conditions will be great. The swell and seas are relatively flat at around 0.5 – 1 metre.
Dolphins: During this week the Dolphins have been a little harder to find with all the fresh water from last weeks rain escaping the bay. The good thing about Imagine’s Dolphin Watch is that we can sail around the heads to find the Dolphins if they have decided to ‘day trip’ around the base of Yaccaba Headland into Providence Bay. The sea has continued to clear and warm up after the big wet and the visibility on the Snorkeling cruise is improving by the day. The days are warm and the sailing has been great. Lighthouse cove at Fingal island has been very clear for snorkelling.
Dinner: If you are heading to Port Stephens, Nelson Bay, Shoal Bay or even if you are in Newcastle, don’t forget that our famous $35 Seafood Dinner Cruise is operating 7 nights per week. Whilst this Saturday night we are holding a private function on board all other days are available and with the great weather forecast, this cruise will be amazing!
